Visual Form Builder

Throws critical error screen, when I try to create a new form on WP 6.2.2. This plugin is totaal useless. Last update one year ago. Looks like abandonware.

The free version of this plugin is great but because a client wanted to hide some fields I needed to add some logic, or rules as VFB Pro calls it. Might be better to start with another plugin if you plan on upgrading later. First of all the Pro version uses a different table system so all your old entries will be lost, have to back them up because you won't be able to see them online anymore. The support is zero, I opened a ticket, never heard back from them. When you migrate the forms over from the free version, the required/not required on all the fields has to be redone. And to kick it off, the free version allowed you to choose which columns were displayed when you viewed Entries, the Pro version you have to buy another add-on for that. Really disappointed with the Pro version but loved the free version, it's too bad they mucked that up.

Plugins seems like deprecated. No support, Facebook and twitter accounts deleted etc. Shame. Still Pro version can be bought, which seems fishy.

I purchased this plugin a few weeks ago. I had followed the specified instructions using the "support ticket" channel for this plugin creator's website, sent numerous support ticket requests over the past few weeks, only to not receive any response. I merely receive an email confirming receipt of my support ticket submission but no one has bothered to answer my urgent query - money down the drain!

Issues with recent update stating required fields need to be filled out for submission (when they were already filled out correctly). Many people having the same issue with no response from anyone involved with the plugin here in this forum. I have a client who has a VFB PRO License, so I also submitted a request there about the update issue - NO RESPONSE FROM PAID SUPPORT EITHER. This is getting very frustrating - especially when the pro version is supposed to have the pro support. We, the consumers, just need to know when there will be a resolution for this problem. I would steer clear of this plugin until there is fix for the most recent version's bugs.

I was very content with Visual Form Builder, but unfortunately 3.1 is experiencing problems that are really obscure. Fields that are required and filled in correctly lead to an error showing HTML code. The solution to downgrade as suggested by some users was successful and I can use the form again. But I cannot make changes to forms. Reordering is not possible. Ik see more people experiencing the same problems and until there is a fix I would strongly advice not to use this plugin.

There is a major issue in 3.1 and lot's of people are complaining. No reaction from developer

Recently did an update at the end of May 2022. Got an email from our client that the redirect link to paypal stopped working on all our forms. It kept redirecting back to the wp-admin. I used the rollback plugin to revert it back a few versions until the issue gets resolved. Once it is resolved I will change my review. Thank you to the previous reviewer for suggesting a rollback option as that did the trick for now. I am currently at version 3.0.8. There must be some kind of bug in the last two updates or so. Thank you!

I use WordPress 5.9.3. I updated to Visual Form Builder 3.0.9 on Saturday 21.May.2022. After updating, I could no longer access my "Customize" tab under "Appearance." It told me there was a critical error that referenced Visual Form Builder. I rolled back to version 3.0.8, and all seems to be back to normal. Any speculation as to what might be the issue? 6 days ago, we submitted a support request from this software vendor for assistance when Google Recaptcha V.3 was failing to stop nefarious parties from submitting false data on a simple newsletter subscription form. As of this writing, they have yet to respond. This is fairly uncharacteristic of the company, so not sure why they have slipped so badly in their support response time. While the product is typically stellar when you use the PRO version, I'd be wary of further use of this plugin until they fix their slack support lead time.
