Should I, and how much can I make? Here is the honest version.

What does it actually cost me to resell?

Your wholesale cost is InstaWP's per-site hosting: roughly $2/mo for a sandbox and $5 to $45/mo for production, billed per site, daily. There is no monthly platform fee or seat fee. Whatever you charge above that is your margin.

Does InstaWP take a cut of my sales?

Only if you use our checkout. Sell through your own WooCommerce store or the API and InstaWP takes 0% of the transaction, since the money runs through your own gateway.

Whose brand does the client see?

Yours. The checkout, the client portal and the emails carry your logo, colours and domain, and the client never needs an InstaWP account. InstaWP runs the infrastructure behind it and stays out of sight.

How fast is a new client site live?

About 10 seconds after they pay. Each client gets their own WordPress site, not a multisite subsite, with staging and backups included.

Can I sell whole sites, not just hosting?

Yes. Save a finished build as a template, attach it to a plan, and every buyer gets their own copy, live in seconds. Selling domains at your own markup is in beta.

Can I bring my existing clients, and can they leave?

Yes to both. Migrations into InstaWP are free, at any volume, from any host. Every client site is a standalone WordPress install, so it can be moved out the same way.

Do I have to host the servers?

No. There are no servers to rent, patch or watch overnight. InstaWP runs the infrastructure; you handle the customer and the price.
