A branded, self-serve portal for your hosting customers to manage their own site: backups, domains, billing and plan. Your domain, your colours, your logo. InstaWP never shows.
Reselling has two halves. WaaS is the branded checkout where a customer buys a site. Portal is the branded account they log into afterwards to run it themselves, so you stop being their help desk.
They pick a template and plan in your branded checkout and pay. A real, isolated WordPress site is provisioned under their account.
Branded checkout · on your domainCustomers land in a branded portal on your domain to take backups, manage their domain, change plan and update billing. Every routine task they handle is a ticket you never open.
Self-serve · manage what they boughtCustomers are auto-created at WaaS checkout, or you add one by hand. The portal is for managing existing sites, not creating new ones.
Everything a customer needs to manage their own site, none of the things they shouldn't touch.
From inside the portal, a customer can take their own backups, add or manage a custom domain, change their plan and update their profile. Each request they self-serve is a ticket you never open.
Customers see their invoices and billing history, manage their payment method, and upgrade their own plan without emailing you.
| Invoice | Date | Amount | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| INV-0231 | Jun 14 | $39.00 | Paid |
| INV-0198 | May 14 | $39.00 | Paid |
| INV-0256 | Jul 14 | $39.00 | Upcoming |
Cut details (7% native / 0% your gateway) live on the WaaS page, not here.
The portal runs on a custom URL on your own domain with automatic SSL. Your logo, favicon, brand-name and colours re-skin the whole thing, and there is no "powered by InstaWP" anywhere in the experience.
Same portal, two brands. Placeholder names, no real customer logos.
From your own InstaWP dashboard you manage every customer and their sites. "View portal as" lets you open any customer's portal in one click to troubleshoot exactly what they see. Customers are scoped to your team and brand, so you keep the relationship and the billing.

The portal is a manage-only customer panel. Here's exactly what's live now and what's still on the way, so you know what you're buying.
The real alternative is hand-building a customer panel, or stretching WP Ultimo and multisite to fake one.
Portal is the manage layer of reselling. Pair it with the front half and the platform underneath:
Clone, test, push live
SSH, CLI, Git deploy, MCP
Provision sites by API
Save sites & reusable presets
Managed WordPress, per site
Buy, connect, or resell
Bring sites in, free
Connect your stack
Every site, one dashboard
Resell hosting, your brand
Panel for your clients
Sell ready-made sites
Sell with WaaS, then hand every customer a branded portal to manage their own site. The portal is auto-created at checkout, so the brand carries from buy to manage with no extra setup.
