Converted (almost) all images on a 10 year old blog shockfull of old bloaty JPG and PNG images after some minor tweaking. Actual savings in GB not saved so can't tell (hint to dev!)

Think a hundred times before installing this plugin. Things have only gotten worse on my site: Hosting statistics: The number of files after installing the plugin and starting converting files from jpg to web increased from 36,995 to 45,421 (+2.5%), Google pagespeed test indicators fell from 44 to 31. I see that there are a lot of good reviews on the plugin, so most likely this only applies to my site, but still I highly recommend making a backup in advance to restore the site to its original state before this plugin works. Well, now I don't even think about the paid version, because even the free one showed itself very poorly.
