Background Gradient

We’re excited to roll out v3.8.0, packed with UI enhancements, developer tools, and smarter controls for Pay-as-you-go (PPU) users.

From new filtering tools for Managed Sites to a refreshed wp.new interface and better pricing transparency, plus a hefty list of fixes, this update makes InstaWP even more reliable for your daily work.

What’s New?

#1 – Sorting & Filtering in Bulk Edit (Managed Sites)

You can now sort by name or by updates when bulk editing Managed Sites. This makes it easier to prioritize updates and streamline your site management process. When you sort by updates, only the ones that require updates will be on top.

Filters include plugins, themes, and more, making it faster to find and manage the sites you need.

#2 – New wp.new Interface

The wp.new site creation interface has been redesigned to make spinning up a WordPress site even simpler and more intuitive. We’ve completely refreshed the wp.new experience with a cleaner, more intuitive layout designed for speed and clarity.

You’ll get the option to choose your preferred site plan (from Free to Elite). The interface feels lighter, loads faster, and guides you more smoothly from idea to a live WordPress site.

#3 – Price per Day in Usage Records

You can now see a clear daily price breakdown of your usage costs, giving you better insight into where your budget is going and helping you optimize site management. Usage record breakdown makes it more transparent to the v3 users.

Improvement

#1 – Permanent/Temporary Site Flags for v3 Teams

v3 users can now mark sites as permanent or temporary directly via the flag icon. This feature was not there earlier.

The sites of a v3 user are permanent by default. However, the user can make the site temporary from the site settings page. Simply go to the site settings page, find the green flag in the top right corner of your screen. Click it and confirm to make the site temporary.

#2 – $25 Free Credits Confirmation

When adding a credit card, users now get a visible confirmation of their $25 free credits, so you’ll always know you got your welcome bonus.

#3 – Faster API Calls for a Snappier Dashboard

We’ve optimized our API response times, cutting down the wait and making every interaction with your dashboard feel instant. Whether you’re loading site lists, switching between views, or managing updates, the system now responds more quickly, keeping your workflow smooth and uninterrupted. The result? Less loading, more doing.

👉 Better Bulk Update Tracking: See the update progress of each site individually for more transparency.

👉 Updated Report Icons: Managed Sites reports are now easier to scan with refreshed icons.

👉 Cleaner Usage Records: Usage details are now hidden from the Details page when a team is shared.
