Version 3.10.0 is here, and while it’s a shorter release, it packs some impactful updates to make your InstaWP experience faster, safer, and easier to manage.

From bot protection for CDN-enabled sites to new onboarding improvements and fixes across billing, APIs, and site creation, we’ve refined the platform for both developers and teams.

What’s New?

#1 – Suffix Domain Selection in Configuration

A small improvement that saves a big effort for frequent site creators!

You can now set a default suffix domain directly in your global configuration. This reduces repetitive work by letting you define your preferred domain once; every new site you create will automatically use this suffix unless you change it manually.

#2 – Site Plans for v2 Users

v2 users (those with at least one existing v2 team) can now enable site plan based billing when creating new teams. This means v2 accounts no longer need to stick to just one model, they can enjoy the flexibility of both v2 and v3. New users won’t see this option, as they’re already on v3 by default.

#3 – Bot Protection for CDN-Enabled Sites

We’ve added an extra layer of security to CDN-enabled sites by blocking unwanted bot traffic. This helps reduce unnecessary CDN bandwidth consumption and ensures your resources are being used by real visitors, not automated scrapers.

#4 – Onboarding Sidebar Widget

New users often sign up but are not sure what to do next. The new onboarding sidebar walks you through essential steps like adding a credit card, creating your first site, and exploring key features. It’s designed to shorten the learning curve and help you get value from InstaWP faster.

Improvements

  1. Vulnerability Scanner UI: Added more spacing to improve the readability of vulnerability reports.
  2. Site Label in Page Titles: Site labels are now included in subpage titles for better context when navigating.
  3. Upgrade Now Page for Free Sites: Free sites now display a cleaner “Upgrade Now” page whenever you try to access locked features, guiding you directly to the right plan.

Fixes

  • Fixed bug when searching across sites, templates, and manage pages.
  • Fixed the issue where EU users were unable to update the tax type in billing settings.

  • Fixed bug preventing site creation using the Chrome Extension.
  • Fixed the incorrect team settings mapping issue.
  • Fixed wrong pricing displayed for InstaWP Live sites.
  • Fixed broken branding logo in WaaS checkout links.
  • Fixed internal issues while adding credits using the admin panel.
  • Fixed bug preventing site deletion via API endpoint.
  • Improved error handling for the password update module.

Wrapping Up

This release might feel smaller in scope, but it tackles some long-standing usability and reliability gaps. From onboarding guidance for new users to flexible billing for teams on fixed plans and stronger CDN protection, InstaWP 3.10.0 lays the groundwork for smoother scaling and safer site management.
