Does not appear to copy role 100%

If a user has shop manager rights, I use ure to copy the role to a new role name, the user with the new role does not have the same rights as shop manager. Moving the user back to shop manager restores their rights ?
Not hiding the administrator account.

The plugin need an update because showing last updated four months agao. WordPess has had a few updates since then. How ever it is hiding the superadmin account on a multisite but not on a normal site the main administrator account is still visiable. everything else is working normally. Needs a few more items adding to it so when you install another plugin the options will show for that to restrict. Could do with option to hid the option to change the password and email so when you have a demo website to prevent others from changing the email. I use another plugin that allows me to all of those things but none have the hide administrator accounts like this one.

I "safely" reverted the permissions before deactivating this plugin, as advised, but the permissions were NOT reverted.

User Role Editor is one of the easiest ways to change permisions of roles in WordPress. I use this plugin for every project where client need to edit permission on it's own. This the best option after custom code placed in child theme or custom plugin.

First, let's be clear: I have not installed this plugin. My review is based upon the fact I asked about a feature in support forum weeks ago and no response. I have also noticed other users have not received a response to their issues for several weeks.
I will install plugin to find the answer and modify my review accordingly.

This is exactly, how well mannered plugin should integrate into WP admin. Add columns and buttons exactly where needed in the Users table, add one sub-menu under Users to control list of roles, exactly where it belongs. No fancy branding. No poluting admin menu. Decent. Absolutely love it. Works charm too.
Would appreciate few improvements:
- "Human readable capabilities" toggle should work live, using javascript, without refreshing the table.
- Manually granted/denied capabilities should be much more highlighted. Or even toggle for them should appear on top of capabilities table to "Show only changed". Currently it feels like when I change a few capbilities for a user or role that when I come back later I will struggle to find which ones were changed.
- Link to "Roles and Capabilities" on WordPress documentation should be shown below the capabilites editor table to have it by hand every time I stuggle to remember the name or meaning of some of them.

A powerfull, logical, native approach to capabilities and roles, without the need to code it all. Great stuff. Probably the best solution out there.
