Installed without my consent

This plugin suddenly appeared on my site without me ever installing it. I can only assume it was pushed through an Elementor update, which is completely unacceptable behavior.
- Plugins should never be auto-installed without explicit consent.
- It clutters the site admin with features I didn’t ask for and don’t need.
- It raises serious trust and security concerns when software appears on production websites without my approval.
If Elementor or this plugin’s developers want users to try it, they should offer it as an optional install, not force it onto sites. This kind of behavior erodes trust and makes me question the integrity of the platform.
I immediately uninstalled it.

I don't understand negative reviews. Site Mailer is fantastic. It really solve email delivery issues. The free plan is enough almost always and premium plan is not expensive.

Easy setup but frustrating to use

Easy initial setup and seems to send emails well. However, a ReplyTo email must be added to the settings. This is very frustrating for my clients who receive a lot of messages through their website, as they must delete this email address from the reply.

The Site Mailer plugin has been working well for us, and we use it on several sites. The support team has helped me condense all my "free trials" into my account so I can use one license for 25 accounts.

Bad Idea, dishonest and coercive practice

My forms stopped working, they stopped sending emails out of nowhere, and after a lot of checking, I saw the plugin message. I just installed it and everything worked again. It seems like a dishonest and coercive practice on Elementor's part to force people to subscribe to that plugin. I was an Elementor fan, but after this, I'll have to figure out how to change all my sites. I don't agree with being forced to have something to send a simple email.
Stops Sending Emails without Notification

Loses connection and Stops Sending Emails without notification. No batch resend of those messages that were not sent because of arbitrary connection loss. Minimal documentation. No indication before installing that you will be limited to 200 sent messages per month. As a paid Elementor user, I expected much much better from them.

I think it's hysterical that the "sales pitch' on the first page of this plugin's advertising and here in the listing is "has your site stopped sending emails?"
Well, sadly, NO, it didn't until we started trusting this plugin! We were happy and everything working fine with WP-SMTP Pro, for years, no issues, but decided to drink the Elementor Kook Aid and bring everything in to their ecosystem thinking things would be better. Nope. The plugin is nice, when it works.
But now, over 11 times, literally every 2 - days, the plugin "loses it's connection' with home base (aka Elementor), and drops it's connection, which makes it think it's not "licensed" or "authorized" any longer, so then you get an error page, and you have to "reconnect it". As soon as you 'reconnect' it starts working again.
But guess what happens when it's in "error / disconnect" state? IT STOPS WORKING AND NONE OF YOUR EMAILS GO OUT... and everyone on your site on every form, attempted purchase, etc. get an ERROR, or SERVER ERROR.
So literally this plugin that is supposed to be 'better' and 'more reliable' is WORSE! Imagine your business shutting down for days at a time randomly because this plugin thinks it's not licensed any longer even though you are PAYING THE MONTHLY FEE!
We've opened a ticket several times, it gets escalated, they claim the "fix it" and say they had a "token" problem, and then viola, two days later it's disconnected again.
DO NOT TRUST YOUR BUSINESS EMAIL TO THIS PLUGIN.
Strangely, in 20 years of using WordPress and SMTP plugins, including WP SMTP Pro and others that need to be 'licensed" - they don't lose their connection to the licensor and just stop working.
Extremely disappointing for a plugin that literally advertises itself as being the more reliable solution that is going to solve your email problems.
