I have been using this free plugin for a few months now and there is much to like. There are plenty of features and options for creating and managing galleries and slideshows, the interface is well put together and everything makes sense if you are willing to spend some time testing out the features. I would recommend to anyone new to website design, I have been using this with the Astra Theme and other plugins and have had no issues is being able to do most things I have needed. It does a decent job all the time. I may invest in some of the many add ons/extensions for my future websites.

Very nice, with lots of configuration option!

Photos look like crap when displayed in this gallery. Even though there's an opacity setting I set to 100%, the pictures are still transparent. This plugin isn't ready for prime time. Back to the drawing board, guys.
