PixelYourSite 9.0.0

These events are reported by Google Analytics 4 and can be used for audiences or conversions on Meta (Facebook), Google Analytics, Google Ads, and for audiences on Pinterest, Bing, or TikTok. This version still fires the old Signal event by default and you need to manually turn it OFF and enable the automatic events. Version 9.1 will completely remove the Signal event and enable the automatic events by default. If you have audiences or conversions based on the Signal events, replace them using the new events.

function pys_test($event,$pixelId,$eventId) {
error_log(“Send event for pixel $pixelId id = $eventId”);
return $event;
}

It is called before the event is sent to the FB server
3 parameters:

– the first one is the event object with all the data

– the second is the pixel id

– and the third is the event id, rendered it separately

You need to take into account that our events are mainly sent via Ajax after the page has loaded.

Notifications are too much

By Robothead (toktor) on April 12, 2024

WP-Admin side notifications take up more than half of the screen. There is no setting to disable showing notification for all users, therefore no way to have clients not see the notifications. We can't expect all the clients to keep clicking close button.

Actively seeking alternatives.

incompatible with other plugins

if other plugins do not work as they should, PixelYourSite may be the cause, the problem has been reported to the developers of both plugins, we are waiting for the solution

Great Plugin! Great for Facebook Ads Conversion API

By xpconversions on March 19, 2024

Update:
The plugin is great. To me, solves the Facebook Ads Conversion API in a simple way. That's what I use it for.

This bug below was fixed in version 9.5.3

---------------

Hello guys, since the last update to version 9.5.2 the plugin is spamming the following error:

2024-03-17 13:20:37.114330 [NOTICE] [443432] [T0] [189.203.187.77:2065:HTTP2-1#APVH_www.classyfunnels.com:443] [STDERR] PHP Warning: Trying to access array offset on value of type null in /home/classyfunnels/domains/classyfunnels.com/public_html/wp-content/plugins/pixelyoursite/includes/class-events-manager.php on line 171n

I am rating it 1 star so you can see the issue because there is no support, thanks! I will update once its fixed.

Purchse event, everyting is for PRO

By dominiks8318 on January 17, 2024

COOL! Congratulations, just 3 orders were not transferred to pixel by your fucking PRO system for $160 (fucked!)

The purchase event in the free version is sent to the pixel only when the customer displays the last page of the order - as in my case, customers do not display it, but simply complete the transaction and leave.

I had to set the event manually on the button.

Don't use it, you'll only lose your nerves. Right from the very beginning, they bombard your WordPress panel to buy the PRO version and new messages appear from time to time. Fucked up.

Events not showing

Facebook Events not showing in Ads manager but I can see them in events manager active. What's the issue??

Spammy notifications

By mhogas on December 14, 2023

There's some sort of developer ego when creating these kinds of ridiculous and ugly banners like they think it's the only plugin installed in a site. I didn't even knew who's plugin it belonged. I just happened to login and the entire screen was hijacked with whatever give me your email, watch this and that.

The fact that WordPress allows showing notifications does not mean it should be abused. Just because you can doesn't mean you should and with a bit of creativity you could find alternatives like at least unifying them or be more subtle.

Anyway, you'll likely keep getting reviewed because of this so good luck.

Awesome.!
