Imagify – Optimize Images & Convert WebP | Compress Images Easily

Believe ALLLL the others that have posted....this product is so darned slowwww with Bulk Optimization and it will just quit after some undetermined time. I've tested it based on # of images as well as actual time. It varies. There server(s) on the backend seem to be highly unstable as well. I will get a Popup from their side stating "Sorry, our servers are temporarily unavailable. Please try again in a couple of minutes". WTF...I guess they have us phoning home to a 8088 server in their basement. Based on the slowness and instability of the service...this can't be far from the truth. I've tried other products (all paid versions as well) and they were all faster and more reliable but had other issues. I feel that I have completely wasted my money with the "Infinite" yearly subscription to this product and I will be cancelling. I also use the paid WP Rocket product (owned by the same company and Imagify) and it has been great. However i strongly urge you to look elsewhere for a image optimization product.

I appreciate the fact that our PDFs files are optimized in addtion of the images.
A really great plugin but it miss the functionnality of the automatic optimization of added folder(s).
Once added, it's not logic to have to manually (and regulary) process these files rather than benefit of an automatic optimization on upload.

By default, why not generate webp only if the size is less important than the original file??
For that, normal, comportment we have to add a filter in our functions.php, otherwise we'll regulary find webp bigger thant the originals :(

I've noticed that sometimes, for an unknown reason, the webp format are not used anymore on the websites. I have to change a setting in the plugin, save my configuration, then "restore" this setting and resave for make it works again.

Is there's any plan for avif optimization?

Despite this little imperfections I choose this plugin after trying several others (Robin Image Optimizer, WebPExpress, etc) ;).

Keep up the good work and, please, think about these little improvements/corrections to make it even better :).

Simple... I paid, it doesn't work, it does like 8% then just stops and does nothing else.

Bit angry about this being I dropped money on your plugin and I'm receiving absolutely no benefit for doing so.

They haven't been able to complete webp support update for variant products for over 2 years. They told us to use the different option, but this time they said you can't use CDN.

Very good plugin to optimize images.

So far so good… but it times out occasionally… website speed has increased

Good UI but functionality does not work.
All the time if you press optimize it showing loading and loading and optimizing and optimizing but its never end.
