Not what it used to be

By csmithFCEdge on November 3, 2025

Smash Balloon used to be great, but they've gotten greedy. The free version does not show the feed correctly, you're better off finding a different plugin. Free feed doesn't show proper facebook posts, saying it isn't showing because of a smaller audience. No, it's a public post. Not worth the troubleshooting. Just find a different plugin.

Plugin is good, nag screen is bad

By Shylo (shylolove) on October 9, 2025

So tired of seeing the nag screen to review, taking up a large amount of space in the dashboard that I'm here to review and tell you that you may have received a 5 star if you didn't make it SO annoying perpetually asking for a review...

No matter what is clicked, the screen remains. I'd love a chance to give a 5 star review once that screen is removed. User experience is just as important as the plugin functioning well.

Not a good sign for this plug in. Hope the rest is stable.

Constant Problems and Terrible Support

By stych on August 22, 2025

I've had ongoing issues with Custom Facebook Feed Pro for months now. I've contacted support many times and they rarely get back, or when they finally do they try to gaslight me by saying they've replied but it must have gone to my spam. It never has. I give the app 2 stars because it worked well for a while, but for many months many of our feeds say 'source invalid', and none of Smash Balloon's suggestions have improved things. They have no sense of urgency to help, and I've had no response when requesting a refund. The 'Pro' uprgrade clearly means very little in terms of support.
