The latest update to InstaWP, version 3.3.0, brings thoughtful refinements to your everyday experience. From a cleaner Sites table and improved sidebar behavior to smart plugin enhancements and stronger database security, this release is all about making the platform feel more responsive, informative, and stable.
Let’s look at what’s new, what’s better, and what’s been fixed in InstaWP v3.3.0.
Table of Contents
⚙️ What’s New?
#1 – Updated Site Status Column
The Sites table now features a refreshed site status column. It displays site states like active, suspended, or expired. When you hover over it, it’ll show the remaining active time for a temporary site.

#2 – Suspended Site tooltip box
Earlier than this, our users could not know why their sites were suspended unless they reached out to our support team. Not anymore!
From now, they’ll get a tooltip with the suspension reason for their site.
#3 – New Landing Screen in InstaWP Connect Plugin
We’ve added a fresh landing screen inside the InstaWP Connect plugin, improving the onboarding and overall user experience for first-time users and teams managing multiple sites.

⚙️Improvements
#1 – Sidebar State Retention
You’ll love this if you prefer a minimal view!
The collapsed sidebar state now persists even after page reloads or logging out. Your preferred layout sticks with you, making for a more consistent experience every time you return.
If you extend this, it’ll stay extended; if you collapse, it’ll stay collapsed after reload or even log out.

#2 – Sharper Error Messages & Plugin Info
We’ve enhanced error messages across the platform, making them more descriptive and actionable.
Within the plugin interface, you’ll now see the connected team name and user email ID, which is helpful for agencies or shared environments.
#3 – Better Database Security
Under the hood, we’ve made database-level security improvements to harden the platform even further, especially during migrations and site handling.
Fixes & Stability Enhancements
InstaWP 3.3.0 also addresses several fixes to improve reliability across the board:
- wp.new URL now functions as expected.
- Activity Logs page and reports are working properly.
- Sites filter dropdown now works properly.
- Pagination under tables has been fixed.
- Manage search is fixed again.
- Better Addon buttons and billing details on the Subscription page.
- Fixed file handling during migration destination setup, ensuring smooth end-to-end transfers.
Conclusion
While 3.3.0 may not be feature-heavy, it’s a thoughtful upgrade. It polishes the platform where it matters most—your daily workflow.
From UI clarity to plugin enhancements and essential bug fixes, this release reinforces our goal: keeping InstaWP fast, reliable, and ready for anything you build.
