The purpose of the Shariff plugin is to provide an easy to use solution for WordPress that follows the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) by not automatically transmitting data of visitors to social network sites without their consent.

How does the Shariff plugin work?

The Shariff plugin adapts the Shariff concept developed by the German computer magazine c't. It allows users to share content on social network sites without their data being automatically transmitted. Users have to click on a share button to initiate the data transmission.
