The Plugin Did Nothing

When I check my jquery version it's 1.11.3. I'm getting hit on my "Best Practice" rating because of security issues relating to my jscript so I used this to update. I did nothing and I couldn't find any options after it installs.
How to use?

1. Do you just install it and it automatically updates Jquery?
2. Do I leave it installed and active?
3. Will it autoupdate Jquery in the future or do I need to install it again for it to run?
4. How do I manually run it?
