WPZOOM Social Feed Widget & Block

We are using this plugin on several sites and it's working perfectly.

It is responsive with lazy load, this is what we needed.

It does not refresh automatically. Poor.

This plugin is terrible - it came with a theme I purchased by one of the other reviewers here.

It unlinks itself constantly and won't re-link (you have to delete your profile and then add it all over again).

It also doesn't hold the formatting/design that you set up in the backend, and often doesn't pull the new posts at the intervals set either.

It definitely needs a lot of improvements.

This is a poor widget. Out of the box easy enough to setup. But it doesn't support responsive display at all, nor does it scale images to the width of the container. Images are cut-off on tablet and other mobile devices. It's not responsive at all. Whats the point?

This is a great plugin for displaying Instagram feeds on your website. The developers are active in both improving the plugin and providing fast customer support. You will find all the features you need to display Instagram on WordPress, you can't go wrong!

The latest updated broke the feed display. The images don't appear in a 1:1 ratio but in a portrait mode. In the instructions it is said to stop using the legacy display, and to create a new one, but I can't get it right.

Plugin seems to do the job just fine.

Update: I upped the rating another notch to 4 stars for attentive and constructive response from the author. However, the missing star is to say that this plugin is a bit outdated due to its implementation method and should be improved to work better with current version of WP. - After installing and going through all the config to connect to an IG account, it dawns on me that this plugin only displays IG feed using a widget. I know, it's in the name of the plugin. I'm so used to building WP sites with Gothenburg blocks nowadays, widgets and shortcodes feel so old school. In fact, the new widget editor doesn't even support widgets anymore. I wish the author create a Gothenburg block version for this plugin.

I love the plugin and the support was fast. Please keep in mind that you will have to reconnect it to Instagram. Access tokens are valid for 60 days. If the widget stops working, please generate a new Access Token below.
