Event Tickets and Registration

This is not at all a "robust ticket management" solution, as they promise. This plugin is just a nightmare! It crashed our site several times and their service is coming up with solutions that seem like they didn't even train their service staff. They even blame other plugins for their own malfunction. If I knew before how bad the whole events calendar plugin is, I would have used another events plugin. There are better choices available! They are extremely complicated and buggy! DO CHECK the 1 Star reviews before buying / using it. Pro version is not worth the money. They told us it works with WooCommerce – totally didn’t and we had big trouble here as well. Also the community event ticketing solution DID NOT work as they sold it so us. Just excuses and they point to the roadmap… one day in the future… I have to invest more time in trying to get things up and running than using it. We’ll change as soon as possible.

I have very limited knowledge of setting up a website and incorporating the plugins that are needed for our charity organizations needs. I was having a problem getting the RSVP button to work for an event that was coming up and the support team patiently worked with me and helped me get it up and running. They were awesome!

Don't even bother with these plugins - It appears development is on life support.

I am attempting to use plugin for another event and realized the same Stripe webhook issue/bug causing duplicate purchase emails that was reported over a year ago is still a problem.

Additionally if you happen to have a user purchase a ticket that fails the first time due to requiring an additional verification, the ticket will be forever stuck in pending with no way to validate the purchase manually with Tickets Commerce - Which is a joke as it relates to being a ticket / attendee manager for events.....

I've been using a combination of TEC with tickets & community plugins for over a year. I had some issues with the block editor and got in touch with support, and they spent a lot of time working with me on a custom solution that made things run smoothly for my niche implementation of the plugins.

I've had a few issues getting my online tickets setup as I want it. But each time I reach out to Support they get back to me quick and help with solutions. This really works for me.

I have been using the events calendar even tickets plus for 3 years and so far had a little amount of issues.

I was looking for an events plugin that would show attendees for an event. Events Manager doesn't do that out of the box so I looked to The Events Calendar to do the job. I uninstalled Events Manager and installed Events Calendar. I added some events but none of them showed up in the website. Not sure what went on there but I fell at the first hurdle. So I gave up. I couldn't get Events Calendar to work properly at all. Hence 1 star.

I've since gone back to Events Manager and hacked the code and it now does what I want beautifully.

If you don't need the "premium" version of this plugin, use it - it has issues but you won't be out of pocket. DO NOT BUY THE PREMIUM VERSION!!!!! Every update (THREE this week) cause the plugin to stop working despite having a valid license. I paid for a multi-site version of this plugin, and the fact that it is 1) Not on the Wordpress Repository that can be auto-updated; 2) no email notice is given when they update; and 3) no explanation about why the previous plugin should stop functioning; should hopefully warn people away from a really shady premium plugin.
