Beaver Builder – WordPress Page Builder

Beaver Builder is seriously the best! My wife has been using it to build websites for clients for the past 10 years. It's super fast and really intuitive. It's super stable and reliable. We never worry about any of our sites breaking after an update. Support Team is amazingly helpful too.

Beaver Builder is unbelievably slow. I've seen grass grow faster than the amount of time it takes to add a page element. This builder gives me a headache.

Anyone looking for a page builder would probably be better off with Elementor, Beaver Builder is extremely glitchy, not very intuitive, and way overpriced. Support is not great either.

Buggy and inconvenient to use. In free version you can't even copy elements between pages.

The guys at BB have solved so many tech problems for me it's insane. If I would have to hire a developer each time it would be such a huge pain, not to mention money spent. Many of the issues I've experienced on my site have turned out to be some tiny thing that I would have never found myself. Smartest guys on the internet, in my opinion.

I really do love this builder. It is so intuitive and easy to use. I love the features and how quickly i can build everything....here is the issue.... I have built a number of web sites with this builder and...sad to say...I am encountering serious lag issues. when the website gets a little bit too big....it starts to become really slow..... It seems to work almost like a memory leak. I have gone into a large website I needed to work on and the longer I was there ....the slower it got. It started suddenly crashing pages. I would save a module and it would become transparent like it was thinking and it would stay that way sometimes indefinitely..... This has happened a number of websites.... I finally come to suspect that the amount of resources this builder needs....creates drag and eventually causes pages to timeout and not save. If you have a small website that doesn't have much going on - YOU WILL LOVE THIS BUILDER....I would caution using it with any business that carries an inventory or more than say 20 pages. I wish this was not the case. If this was fixed.... and didn't have this lag issue - I would become a spokesperson for how easy it is to use.

I've been using Beaver Builder for years, and I just love it! It's never moved away from being simple to use, simple to navigate, and simple to maintain. Great for inexperienced WP user and a brilliant tool for experienced users too. I can't fault it!

I am an experienced developer and I'm used to writing everything myself. I am only using page builders when there is a need for non technical people to add or update content. I am working on a project with a few non technical people and thought Beaver Builder will be a good fit to enable the non technical people to work on the marketing / general pages, leaving the dev to work on the heavier stuff. Frankly I hate Elementor and was impressed by BB's marketing. Sounded like a breath of fresh air so I thought I'll give it a try. Bought the Premium version after a few hours of playing with the free version, and now a few months later we decided to remove it and go back to writing everything from scratch.

Why?
- The UI is very convoluted and doesn't make sense
- Basic and pretty trivial editing options are just missing
- Why can't you apply custom CSS to each element? Only on a page or module level. With many editing options missing we found ourselves overriding a lot of things so at least make it easier
- Every change in the editor takes a few seconds to reflect while everything freezes, makes it really impossible to work with

I'm signing on every word. Is it unclear who is this product for. End users will need to have a dev jump in at some point because they messed something up or can't achieve something trivial that is impossible without custom code anyway. Maybe for agencies or creatives with some technical knowledge that can add some CSS / JS overrides if they need to (which they will). If that's the case there are better alternatives out there.

Bottom line is - I thought Elementor was bed - I was wrong. Elementor is as good as a page builder can be considering the inherent flaws and limitations of visual page builders.

I was so glad I was introduced to Beaver Builder early on in my career. There's a good reason why the most reputable web designers use BB - because it's solid. It's reliable. They know what they're doing. There's not a ton of fluff for that reason.

It's never "glitchy" or "buggy". If there's something wrong, like a small glitch in a new release, they're on it and have a hot fix released within 24 hours, but that's incredibly rare.

While yes, pros use it, that's partially because it can be easily handed off to a client to drive. It's user-friendly, intuitive, common sense.

I've been using BB since... at least 2016. Have been building client sites with it since 2017. I've never doubted my decision to use BB to build my clients' sites. I have built sites with Divi, Visual Builder/WP Bakery, Cornerstone, and worked extensively in Elementor, and I am SO glad that I made the decision to go BB for my business.

With Beaver Themer and BB Pro, there's nothing I can't create. It's 100% compatible with everything - WPML, WooCommerce, etc.

They're constantly improving their products and their support is AMAZING.

This is the best page builder for WordPress, hands down! They offer extensive documentation, and their plugin is super easy to use. It offers Devs and end users the best experience.

The free version is great, but the Pro version is WORTH EVERY DIME.
