InstaWP team had an exciting meetup recently. We also participated in WordPress Ahmedabad, where we met amazing people.
On the development front, we added various features related to Connected sites, extended support for PHP 8.3, and did much more.

EDD Added Support for InstaWP as Staging
Easy Digital Downloads is the best digital eCommerce plugin for WordPress. It is used by 50k+ business owners around the world. And, the good news is EDD now supports InstaWP as staging. ?
This means if you are buying from a plugin or theme author using EDD as their licensing platform, you can try out their plugin on InstaWP without counting it as an active license.

1. Manage Plugins & Themes Easily
We have improved our Connects functionality in this update.
Now, you can view and install any plugin or theme to your connected site – right from your InstaWP dashboard.
For this, just go to Connects, click on the connected site’s name, navigate to the Plugins tab, and select Install for your preferred plugins.
Coming soon: 1-click Bulk Update of Plugins and Themes.
2. Plugin/Theme Installation from WP Repo
Want to install a plugin or theme on your connected site from the WordPress plugin/theme repository or from your local system?
InstaWP lets you do that without visiting the site’s WP admin dashboard. Use the plugin slugs or .zip file to proceed. You will find the option for the same in the Plugins tab upon opening the respective connected site’s settings.
3. Vulnerability Scan for Connected Sites
With our latest update, you can also keep your connected sites safeguarded against known threats and attacks. It’s because of the Vulnerability Scanner feature that was recently added for Connects in InstaWP.
Go to your connected site’s settings > Advanced Options > Vulnerability Scanner and click New Scan to fetch details of all vulnerabilities quickly.
4. Support for PHP 8.3
PHP 8.3 was released on 23 November, and at InstaWP, we know that you are eager to test your sites’ compatibility with this latest PHP version.
Well, that’s simple.
WordCamp Ahmedabad and Team Meetup
InstaWP, as a gold sponsor, participated in WordCamp Ahmedabad. More than a dozen team members took part in the event and got to interact with WordPress professionals and agencies.
