⚙️ What’s New?
#1 – Import support for LocalWP
Yup, you can now easily import sites exported from LocalWP!
Until now, moving a site from LocalWP to the cloud involved manual exports, database tweaks, and file uploads. With native import InstaWP import features, in a few clicks, accelerate testing, collaboration, and deployment.
Developers can start locally and go live without delays, using InstaWP’s managed hosting or advanced site management features. It’s a smoother dev-to-prod pipeline, especially useful when collaborating with clients or teams.
With extended import and export support, you get the extra flexibility to move between local and cloud environments. It is ideal for debugging, showcasing updates, or working offline and syncing later.

#2 – WordPress Studio import/export functionality
WPStudio is a WordPress toolset used by developers and agencies to manage site configurations, templates, and deployments. It offers its own site export format, which captures themes, plugins, settings, and content in a structured package.
InstaWP now allows you to import sites built or exported from WPStudio and export your InstaWP sites in a WPStudio-compatible format. This means:
- You can quickly spin up InstaWP sites from existing WPStudio projects
- Use InstaWP as a staging ground and then export to WPStudio for final deployment
- Reduces the need for manual zipping/unzipping and configuration
#3 – InstaWP Live sites are now Advanced Managed Sites
Every new InstaWP Live site is automatically created as an Advanced Managed Site. That means you don’t have to install our site management plugin manually and pay for it separately.
Instead, you’ll enjoy all the advanced site management features for free.
#4 – Magic Login links for WaaS Demo site Emails
Emails sent to users of WaaS demo sites now include a Magic Login link. InstaWP allows you or your users to access the demo sites with a single click, and no credentials are required. It’s a smoother onboarding experience for your clients and prospects.

#5 – ED25519 SSH Key support
We’ve added support for ED25519 SSH keys, providing a faster and more secure way to access your instaWP sites. It’s the recommended modern standard and ideal for developers managing multiple environments via the terminal.
#6 – Toggle triggers Advanced Connect for site management features
The Advanced Site Management feature now allows you to enable/disable the Uptime Monitoring, Automated Vulnerability Scanning, Activity Logs, and Automated Performance Scanning features.
You can choose to enable any (or each) feature for your managed site, or disable it if you want.

#7 – Monetized template price validation
We have added this small thing to monetized templates. Previously, monetized templates could be set for below $1 price. Now, the minimum price for monetized templates is $1 by default.
#8 – Migration API update
A new Migration Update API is available to handle post-migration workflows. Whether you need to trigger scripts, sync settings, or run cleanup tasks, automation just got a serious upgrade.
