How do agencies sell websites with hosting on InstaWP?
You build a site once, sell it on a monthly plan under your brand, and InstaWP hosts every copy. The client pays your price. You pay our per-site hosting, from $5 a month and billed daily, with no platform fee on top.
- Build one template site. Set up the theme, plugins and starter content you want every client to get.
- Save it as a snapshot. Every client site starts as a copy of it, so the build work happens once.
- Set your plans and prices. Create monthly or yearly plans on your branded checkout. Each one is tied to an InstaWP hosting plan, and the retail price is yours to pick.
- The client pays and the site goes live. A new site spins up from your snapshot in about 10 seconds, on managed WordPress hosting that InstaWP bills to you per site.
- The client runs it from your portal. They sign in to your white-label portal and reach wp-admin through magic login. InstaWP never shows up.

What is website as a service?
A subscription model: the client pays you every month for a website rather than once for a build. On InstaWP each subscription is its own managed WordPress site, provisioned in about 10 seconds from your template and billed on your plan, so recurring revenue grows with every client you add.
Is this multisite?
No. Every customer gets a real, isolated WordPress site, not a subsite on a shared install. Each one is full managed hosting, with its own resources and access.
What hosting does each site I sell run on?
Managed WordPress hosting on InstaWP. Each plan you sell is tied to one of our production hosting plans, which start at $5 a month. Backups, CDN, SSH and WP-CLI come with the site, and SSL is issued when a domain connects.
Who owns the client and the site?
You do. Clients buy on your checkout, get your emails and sign in to your portal, so the relationship and the billing stay with you. Each site is a standalone WordPress install, so it can be exported or migrated if a client leaves. The contract terms are yours to set.
Can clients use their own domain?
Yes. Each client site can run on its own domain: add the CNAME record shown in the dashboard and SSL is issued for you. Your checkout and client portal can sit on your own domain as well.
What does it cost me?
There is no platform fee. You pay InstaWP’s per-site hosting, from $5 a month per site, billed by the day. On the Native checkout we take 5% of each sale, Stripe fees included. Sell through WooCommerce or the API and we take 0%. You set the retail price and keep the difference.
Do I have to use your checkout?
No. Sell with the hosted Native checkout, our WooCommerce plugin, or your own app through the API. With Woo or the API you use your own payment gateway.
Can clients try a site before they buy?
Yes. Turn on demo sites and a visitor can launch a working copy of your template before paying. You decide how long it lasts, anywhere from 30 minutes to 48 hours.
Will my clients see InstaWP?
No. Your logo, colours, domain and emails run across the checkout and the portal. There's no "powered by" anywhere in the experience.
Which payment gateways can I use?
On WooCommerce or the API, any gateway your store supports: Stripe, PayPal, local processors. The Native checkout runs on Stripe, and we handle it for you. Your payouts arrive through Stripe Connect.
Is this a WP Ultimo replacement?
