This plugin allows you to create child themes from any non-child theme directly from the Theme Customizer panel. It also works when previewing a theme before activation and is multisite compatible. The plugin also includes features such as handling FTP credential requests, generating a child theme's screenshot and author dynamically, and is translation ready.

What does the Childify Me plugin do?

How does Childify Me handle FTP credentials?

FTP credential requests are handled within the Customizer itself.

How is the child theme's screenshot generated?

The child theme's screenshot is generated from the parent's screenshot, with a dynamically added ribbon.

How is the child theme's author information determined?

The child theme's author is dynamically generated from the user's Name and Last Name if available. If not set, it defaults to a generic "Administrator".

Is Childify Me available in multiple languages?

Yes, the plugin is translation ready. It has translations available in German, Portuguese, Dutch, Russian, Ukrainian, and Hebrew.
