Brilliant plugin

This plugin works perfectly. It offers you a very good way to manage your websites. I've used other systems before, but MainWP stands head and shoulders above the rest.

Great Plugin, But...

By c4h10o on October 28, 2020

It is a great plugin, no doubt, but ... sometimes it has flaws that are not easily explained, such as not being able to create the "uploads" folder or saying that a certain site already has a link to the plugin, when it is not even installed. Whose fault is it: the wordpress, the plugin or the user? As it is not easily explained I do not know ... for what in doubt, and for everything else that made life easier for me, 5 stars.

Excellent Service

If you want to keep your data private then this tool will work for you. We are planning to move all our client websites over to MainWP.

BIG Time Saver...

If you're fed up logging into to multiple WP sites to update themes and plugins, MainWP is a great option, now handling 12 WP sites for me. And being self-hosted on your sever gives you full control and saves you money versus paid for alternatives. Once you set up auto-updates for WP core, themes and plugins, you'll wonder how you did without it. The software is backed by incredibly good and responsive support whether you take the free or paid option. Highly recommended.

NO CODE - just use the plugin!

By lizmacdougall on May 24, 2018

I do half custom and half WP sites. About a year ago I was ready to drop the WP side of web design as the plugin maintenance on 7 sites was just too much for what it was worth. I was feeling harassed by all the emails saying 'there is a problem with your site' when all it needed was a plugin update. THEN along comes MainWP! To simply register with a service then add a plugin to your site that connects it to your MainWP dashboard every day has become life saver for these sites. I'm a designer so if I had to do code any WP code this never would have happened. The set-up of seven sites probably took a half an hour. Now, every day or so I just click 'sync web sites' and 'update plugins' and watch that bar. Fortunately for my clients the MainWP plugin and MainWP Child plugin have changed my whole relationship with WordPress sites.

Prevented SSH SFTP Updater Plugin Updating Wordpress

By colinhrt on April 21, 2018

I use SSH SFTP Updater support plugin to do the the updates to my websites, this plugin prevented the Wordpress version from being updated, it simply jumped straight to the downloading wordpress page and failed because it was not using the plugin, strangely though doing plugin updates and theme updates worked as normal going to the update plugin scrren to get the SSH password first, it was just the Wordpress update that skipped that and failed. I have removed the MainWP child plugin from my sites and can update there Wordpress version again.
