Easy Watermark

Plugin crashed my whole site and added countless redirects. So much so that I had to roll back to backup made 6 hours ago to get the site back up again

Hi, The plugin is good, but the image size I need to put the watermark is 600x400px and 400x600px. I know that the way it works is thumbnail crops. So it doesn't work for me. I wish there was a custom image size to choose.

This plugin is good, but it really needs a tile feature so you can enter text or your logo and have it tile across the image. That would make it a perfect plugin.

Unfortunaly, this add on not support the new and largely used webp format and no plan to ad it in the future.

So probably this script will disappears soon or later, just question of time.

Ten years ago, to add watermark in photos used to be easy with some php snippets and htaccess in older versions of PHP and wp. Since it's not possible anymore, I've tested a couple of watermark solutions and this plugin is certainly the best. Fast and flexible, it allows you to choose on which photos to add watermark, plus the watermarked file is saved with a good compression and no visual loss in images quality and you can restore the original images if you like.

However, it has some issues. I almost gave up the plugin because in the tests I ran on my localhost, it was adding a black square with the watermark or outputting bad watermark quality when I choose the no redimension option in order to avoid the black square. Despite the buggy behavior in the localhost, it worked perfectly in my live site. Curious thing is both localhost and live site were running php 8 and latest version of WP, so, I have no idea why it didn't work in the localhost.

Anyways, this plugin has everything to be the best ever in watermark solutions and I hope you guys keep it alive. I have notions of PHP and would be happy to help you test and debug the next versions and updates of Easy Watermak.

EN: As much as I have used the plugin it seems perfect to me. Since many images are uploaded daily on my website, it was very tedious to have to put a watermark on each one, I have used this plugin for about 2 years now and it has not given me any problems, I hope it continues like this. As a thank you I have donated a little to the author for such a useful tool.

Dado que en mi página web se suben diario muchas imágenes, era muy tedioso tener que ponerle marca de agua a cada una, he usado ya unos 2 años este plugin y no me ha dado ningún problema, espero que siga así. Como agradecimiento he donado un poco al autor por tan útil herramienta.

I just tried 3 top rated image watermark plugins and this is the only one that has a working manual mode.

Both text watermarks and image watermarks work great.

I wish text one had the option to repeat, i.e. to optionally be applied many times (every XY pixels).
I wish image watermark had more than one templates, i.e. option to set different watermarks to be available with only a click of a button in manual mode.

Excellent plugin, it works on latest Wordpress release 6.1.1. though it is not tested. I first installed it and i thought it has corrupted my images database and i had to remove it and restore back my store, but that's not correct. I encourage everyone to watch the video by WebStylePress channel, i am not allowed to provide link here. Easy to use, easy to remove watermark, it does not corrupt files, has mass block deployment and it works perfectly. The developer need to make the interface more intuitive and feature oriented. Two important missing features are the "right click" image disable. Am fine without it as long my photos are watermarked properly. The other missing feature is .PNG watermark Opacity cannot be controlled. Else, it is just PERFECT.
