Simple and Familiar Editor

By hopkinarona3 on June 28, 2025

Does the job without complications. If you're used to the classic WordPress feel, this plugin brings it back nicely. Not perfect, but reliable enough.

The best solution

By diogopetermann on June 24, 2025

I install it on all websites. It's easier to use and direct to the point.

It does exactly what I need it to do with minimal fuss.

By Elizabeth Beeton (esb10) on May 28, 2025

Please never never never never never change this plugin unless you have security problems. I need this like I need air. I don't need anything fancy. I don't need to have bells and whistles to give it 5 stars. It just has to do what I need done, and I'm happy. FYI: I'm not a bot. I'm giving 5 stars and leaving a variation of this same review on every plugin I use daily and that makes my life easier. This plugin has saved my sanity and has kept my blood pressure from spiking with using the bullshit Gutenberg.

Nice to have but some problem

By jelleruben on May 7, 2025

If I want to add a post on my website on my Tablet(Samsung S10 Ultra), I cant add a title or edit the publish date of the post. The focus jumps to the post it self. If I deacivated the plug pin, I can add the title and edit the publish date.

I haven't the issue on my laptop or smartphone

Make It Less Annoying

By Steve (rjsteve) on March 30, 2025

I'm glad this plug-in exists, but it's really annoying to work with in text mode. Every time you try to edit the cursor jumps off screen, and if your page contains some complicated coding it's hard to find your place. Why not just keep in the cursor in place when you're editing in text mode? It's really annoying to have to go find your edit after you've started it.

Very Simple and Easy UI

By Quotes Ninja (quotesninja) on March 29, 2025

I love this editor. I have been using this editor since my 1'st localhost project. I like it's simplicity and easy to access UI.

Amazing Plugin! I Want to Keep Using It!

By uemura5683 on March 26, 2025

Hello, I'm Uemura.

I use Classic Editor every time I build a WordPress site.
Especially, I rely on related plugins like Smart Custom Fields, and if Classic Editor is discontinued, it will significantly impact my workflow.

Please, I sincerely hope you continue supporting this plugin!
Many users still need Classic Editor, so I truly appreciate your consideration.
