About Vanilla PDF Embed
To embed a PDF that you have uploaded to your WordPress site, simply put the URL for the attachment page in your post on its own line. This will embed the PDF with the default settings. If you want to customize the embed or the PDF is not in your media library, you can use the [pdf] shorttag and provide the URL for the PDF to embed. However, embedding PDFs is not well-supported and there are alternatives like PDFObject or PDF.js that you can consider.Screenshots
