Free version was OK, Paid version is Great!

We started with the free version and, while limited, worked for what we initially needed. (ProTip: make sure you create an API Key - without an API Key, the YouTube results don't stay updated). But we needed some of the advanced features like showing just a PlayList or playing a LiveStream, so we upgraded to the paid version and it all works great! Definitely recommend this plugin!

This plugin has served its purpose for my needs on a 1-pager type of website. It works great for YouTube playlists feeding through a carousel touch-friendly swiper with many videos. I set my videos to open in a lightbox. It allows multiple shortcode instances and video feeds on the same page which is awesome. There are many other sweet features, but my favorite is the automatic cache updates every 30 minutes or longer intervals if you want.

Automatically clearing the cache every 30 minutes keeps me from having to manually clear the server cache when the video guys add a new video to YouTube. Using WP Engine's super sticky cache, I tend to clear the cache a lot for my co-workers, so this is a great feature!

The only minor issue I had was resolved quickly with a support email that contained clear instructions on how to fix. I am using the pro plugin on two important websites that I maintain. I would recommend the pro version if you want a nearly plug-n-play YouTube video feed solution with many customization options for WordPress.

Got a prompt and comprehensive response from presale support. The plugin is feature rich and functions flawlessly. I'm inclined to search out free plugins when I can find them, but this paid plugin does what I need and is worth paying for.

Spent a good couple of hours battling with this plugin. Really wanted it to work. Sadly it kept freezing to the point that it was causing a complete crash of the browser tab within Chrome. Never seen this before!

Also for some reason it seems to need full authentication with my YouTube channel. Not entirely sure why. I already have a working API key so I'm not sure why further authentication is required. Tried without the additional Google authentication step... but crashed the browser again.
