This plugin works well and is fully supported, but the amount of updates is excessive - 12 so far this year. This can make it more difficult to ensure our websites are kept up to date.

I've used SiteOrigin Vantage Theme and Premium Support for (probably) close to 10 years now, if not longer. Their theme and PageBuilder are AWESOME. Reliable, flexible and detailed. I'm not a programmer or website developer and, as detailed and powerful as their products are, they're also built for non-professionals like me to easily use.
And in this age of mediocre (or poor) support, their support is truly AMAZING. I live in California. They're in South Africa. Every time... every single time... I've reached out to them for support, I have a thorough, actionable and complete response waiting for me the next morning, my time. Always within 24 hours. Always! And often faster, as time-differences allow.
Heck, I've reached out to other plugin companies (in different spaces) with "pre-sales" questions... when they, presumably, most value my (potential) business and rarely do I get responses as fast or complete as I ALWAYS get from SiteOrigin. If you're considering them, ACT NOW. You'll be happy, grateful, more productive and successful.
If you're a Page Builder user, the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle is a must-have. It's well worth the premium to fully unlock Page Builder's presentation potential.
The feature that I appreciate the most is that SiteOrigin prioritized giving developers as much customization as possible while maintaining a stable plugin. Their dedicated support is evidence of this fact.
The only downside is to be efficient about your plugin and widget use. Without proper resource allocation and caching, layering your web pages with these widgets will eventually result in slowdowns and hangs.
