I needed to cancel the subscription for the plugin but my login id and password didn't work and the same for the reset password link. After a few back and forth, the issue has been resolved and my money refunded. Thank you for your help.

I hear the paid version is phenomenal, but I would never use the free plugin on a client's site or any website I cared about. To be fair, the developer warned the plugin would no longer be updated to fit new versions of WordPress--possibly leaving your site open to hacking/vulnerabilities. So this is less of a complaint to Jeff and his team, and more of a confirmed warning to would-be users to 100% avoid installing this.

I used to use this plugin and liked it better than Yoast too, so I built a site depending on features of it that cannot be ported and they stopped the free version and I had the option to buy pro or move to another plugin when stuff started breaking. I considered buying the paid version too, but did not, because it felt like a hostage situation. Pay, or watch the site you created fall to pieces as our plugin gets obsolete. I don't want to be in this place once more. If they can ditch free to promote paid, tomorrow if another plugin brings more money, they can ditch paid in favor of that too. What happens to carefully created structure on my site when the plugin becomes obsolete and starts creating problems? There is no changelog or last updated info for their paid. Not that it being published would prevent them from calling any update the last on whim. No thanks. I would rather maintain the crucial functions I have already used on my own and move the rest of the features to an open source plugin for an open source platform.

I bought SEO ULTIMATE last November and regret it. Still got the advert all over my dashboard and find the help not helpful.

I just deactivated my plugin and will stay un-dependent of any more such plugins The latest wordpress update brought a video from SEO Ultimate pretending to be a News Flash from TV news, with paid actors pretending that the move to only paid version is some kind of great offer with all these benefits (gets hundreds of dollars from you, and keeps you needing more).. The video was like one of those clickbank deceptive con artist videos, tying to make the product look as if its owned by some multi billion seo firm, when in truth it belongs to some kid in his bedroom. This has just caused me to switch off the seo plugin. I think this is going to cause the developer to lose his public exposure by his removing of the free version. Im not staying hooked, i just unhooked myself. This product is owned by a very greedy person who is now trying to get all the free users to upgrade with his deceptive video. Should be banned from wordpress
