This plugin is wonderful and does everything it claims to do. My one complaint is that the non-collapsible configuration screen for each snippet takes up 2/3 of the vertical screen area, and this leaves a tiny slit to edit your scripts in. You'll likely set the title, type, and location where a script appears one time. After that, that panel is just in the way of getting the important work done. How about it guys? Easy fix!

Simple & effective but with one catch

HFCM is the most powerful custom code plugin I've ever used. Only downside, it can't put snippets just below the opening <body> tag.

While it can put in the footer just before the closing </body> -- the placement of code is important, and the Google Tag Manager noscript has to go as early in the body as possible.

If that one little catch can be fixed, HFCM will be the best free code snippet plugin of them all.
