This deserves more stars!

I love blocks and I love the block editor. It's great to install this plugin and get a peak at what is coming.
This really deserves more stars.
So, So Bad
By 3yq9nfgnvh on October 23, 2025
We’re the better part of a decade into this project and it’s still so bad and so far behind other page builders. They are touting border radius as some new monumental feature. Border radius. In 2025.
The UI/UX is atrocious. Developing for it is a nightmare. It’s a Frankenstein of React, PHP, JS, HTML, etc. Theme.json is half baked and still requires you to use JS and CSS to accomplish things. It’s truly terrible and so sad to see so much time has been spent on it when other areas of the platform are untouched for years now.
The biggest telltale sign that it’s bad is the fact that WooCommerce, an Automattic product, still hasn’t figured out a way use it for their product editor because it’s so bad. So instead you get a completely different interface when you want to edit products.
The best thing for WordPress is to scrap this thing and admit it is a failure. Leave it as an optional plugin for people who want it and let the rest of us move on to something that’s actually good.

I rarely encounter errors with Gutenberg, but when I do, pinpointing the cause can be a frustrating and time-consuming process. That said, it has improved significantly compared to earlier version
I also agree with those who say there should be an option for users to opt out of Gutenberg entirely, rather than forcing it as a replace
Amazing Plugin for Modern Web Design!

Gutenberg is an excellent plugin for modern web designing. It introduces some wonderful features and keeps getting better with continuous updates. I really appreciate how it evolves with every release, adding more powerful and creative tools for WordPress users.
I get it now - Best building and editing experience for WordPress
By Billy Wilcosky (wilcosky) on October 13, 2025
When I originally reviewed this editor I gave it 1 star. Months later I changed my review to 3 stars, then later 4. And now, I'm updating this review to 5 stars. I think this is a fair review considering all of the work put into this and the fact that the editor has significantly improved over the years.
Overall, once you learn where everything is, it’s powerful. If someone asks me: Elementor/Other or WP Block Editor (Gutenberg)? I'm going with the block editor every time. It's much simpler and cleaner, yet still powerful.
Also, creating block themes is easy and fun (check out the block editor theme creating plugin)!
As it continues to improve, WordPress will continue to grow. Simple as that.

A powerful block editor that makes creating content flexible and modern. Constantly improving and easy to use.

Just difficult to use, please come up with something better.
Love it

I absolutely love blocks and full site editing. Fast, intuitive, native and it can do pretty much anything I want now other than interactive blocks like Tabs, Accordions, etc. No need anymore for bloated page builders!
Gutenberg Blocks make things complicated
By Wanyu (80ssundries) on October 6, 2025
I’ve been using WordPress for almost two months now, and every time I have to work with a block theme, I get extremely frustrated. It’s so hard to find clear documentation, most of what I read is overly long and unhelpful, and I’ve wasted so much time going through it.
