Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled Technical Writer with expertise in WordPress to join the InstaWP team. As a Technical Writer, you will be responsible for creating clear, concise, and accurate documentation for a variety of technical products and services. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand complex technical concepts and transform them into user-friendly and accessible documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain documentation for technical products and services, including user manuals, installation guides, release notes, and API documentation.
- Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand technical concepts and ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation.
- Create and maintain documentation templates and style guides to ensure consistency and quality across all documentation.
- Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date, accurate, and meets the needs of end-users.
- Edit and proofread all documentation to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
- Work with cross-functional teams to identify documentation needs and opportunities for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.
Requirements:
- Experience in technical writing with a focus on WordPress.
- Strong knowledge of WordPress, including themes, plugins, and customizations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in simple and clear language.
- Experience with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and Confluence.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience with Agile methodology is a plus.
- Availability to participate in video meetings between the hours of 10 am – 7 pm IST.
